Blink is a fundraising NFP organisation that raises funds and awareness for the blind and visually impaired community. Based in Hampshire and operated from Basingstoke, we promote independent living and information services, as well as supply talking products not to mention raise the much needed funds for research.
Blink is founded, and run by David Chatten-Smith, a Dad who became blind after being suddenly struck down with Meningitis in December 04.
How does BLINKraise funds?We raise funds by holding various events through out the year, from our hugely popular ** free** Party nights; Dance Decades to our fantastic **NEW for 2008***Now, that's what I call the 80's And for the teenagers, under 18's “Fresh n Funky". Running along side our ** free** party nights we also host a regularSight Day exhibition to promote independent living with assistive products, that can make life a little easier.
